Neutrogena 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Promo Vehicle built by NVS AUDIO LINDEN NJ

Neutrogena 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Promo Vehicle
We were contracted to build a Neutrogena Promo vehicle for a Advertising company that we do work for.
The vehicle needed to be:
 very loud,
able to play for 6-8 hours at a time without shutting down,
Had to have the largest possible tv monitor in the back,
DJ mixer with a wireless microphone setup and it had to be very easy to use.
That was no challenge , the challenge was that they needed it built in 5 days and there could be no permanent modifications to the Vehicle. They were only using the vehicle for 2 months and that after that time we would have to put the whole vehicle back to stock!

So this is what we came up with.
We started by welding up a tube steel metal frame that went floor to ceiling behind  the rear seats as a base for us to build off. The steel frame was painted black and bolted to the body of the truck using factory bolt holes. We then fabricated a steel battery tray to hold a XS Power XP3000. The battery is charged by the factory alternator and isolated from the factory battery. All the aftermarket electronics are connected to the rear battery. All the wiring is Stinger HPM series 4 gauge power and ground and all the power distribution and speaker wiring is Stinger as well. We ran 2 1000 watt whistler power inverters to power the mixer, wireless mic set up. and the 42 in led tv. The 42 inch led tv is rear facing and bolted to the steel rack using 1/4 20 rivet nut inserts. To power the audio system we choose Phoenix Gold amplifiers because of their output power, flexibility and their reliability. We used a 1100.1 mono for the subwoofers mounted in a custom sealed enclosure between the rear seats and the steel rack holding the tv  ( 2 r2 12 inch 4 ohm single voice coil) and 2 RX 400.4 4 channels. The first 400.4 powers the roof mounted Rockford Fosgate wakeboard speakers and the second runs a pair of ten inch P Audio pro audio mid range drivers mounted just under the tv facing out. We made trim panels out of fiberglass to conceal the rack that holds the tv and another to house the pioneer touch screen dvd player that was stashed in a empty pocket on the right hand side of the trunk. All the panels were wrapped in black trunk liner to

Nissan Maxima Memphis audio upgrade by NVS AUDIO Linden NJ

This Maxima came fully loaded from the factory with Navigation and Bluetooth. The customer was happy with the factory head unit , he was just not happy with the sound of the factory Bose system. We kept the factory head unit and fed the signal into a Audison Bit Ten D . The customer loves Memphis Car audio (we are not a dealer) so the customer supplied us with 3 Memphis 10 inch subwoofers, 1 Memphis mono 500.1 and a Memphis 4 channel 75.4.Memphis 6.5 coaxial for the rear deck and 6.5 components for the front doors. We started by laying STP silver sound deadening on all the metal door skins, rear deck , trunk sides and  trunk floor. We then routed speaker plates out of 1/2 inch High Density Polyethylene (HDPE)
and used them to mount the Memphis speakers into the factory locations. We then used F.A.S.T. rings (foam speaker rings like the factory uses) to couple the speakers to the factory door panel to provide a nice tight seal between the speaker and the door panel. We upgraded the factory grounds under the hood to 4 gauge Stinger HPM series. Then we ran Stinger 4 gauge power wire from the battery to the pair of Memphis amplifiers (all power, speaker wires and distribution blocks are Stinger).
We fabricated a Amp rack out of  1 x 2 square steel to mount the amps, and processor . The amps rack was painted black then bolted to the body of the car using 1/4 20 Rivet nut inserts. We mounted the amps in the spare tire well and created a false floor with a V shaped opening in the center to show off the face of the amps, so the trunk is both beautiful and functional. We then fabricated a vented enclosure for the 3 Memphis subwoofers using our term lab software that gave us a nice flat response and played down to 30hz. The enclosure is 3/4 mdf with a fiber glass  faceplate that trims out the subs nicely and is painted to match the exterior of the car. The painted faceplate is a nice contrast to the black Suede that the customer had us wrap the entire trunk in. We also wrapped the trunk lid in the matching black suede and added a back lit Maxima logo to the center of the trunk lid.
